Lullaby to my children

for SATB a cappella choir and Piano

This lullaby was composed for my children when they were young and is dedicated to all the children of the world. Written in 5/4 time, a challenging and uneven meter, the piece aims to convey the complexities of the parenting experience.

However, the eventual harmonization into a pleasing melody reflects the joy of overcoming this beautiful effort.
