This piece was inspired by the biblical text from Isaiah 9:6, "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given,"The composition reflects my longing for salvation and help from above and beyond. "Puer natus est nobis" is a lullaby dedicated to a newborn child.
It alternates moments of tenderness and intimacy with passages of grandeur and intensity, returning to the quiet peace with which it begins.
